Thank you for using Prism. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is used, and your rights as a user. Prism is designed with privacy as a default: it does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to external servers.

1. Information We Access

Prism does not collect personal information. The app requests access to the following device capabilities solely to provide its core features:

Camera

Prism uses the device camera to detect colors in real time through the live scanner. The camera feed is processed entirely on-device; no images, video, or frames are stored, uploaded, or shared.

Photo Library

Prism can load images from your photo library for color extraction in photo mode. Images are processed locally on your device and are never uploaded, transmitted, or retained beyond the active session.

2. Data You Create

When you save colors, palettes, folders, or gradients inside Prism, that data is stored:

You can delete any saved data at any time from within the app or by deleting the app entirely.

3. Third-Party Services

Prism does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs. No data is shared with third parties.

The only Apple service involved is iCloud / CloudKit, which is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. When you choose to submit feedback through the in-app form, you will be redirected to a form hosted by Tally (tally.so). Any information you provide in that form is subject to Tally's Privacy Policy. Prism does not receive or store the content of your feedback submissions.
